It is impossible to find hiking shorts with up and down pockets to easily access your phone or any keys items you are carrying on the move. This 8 pocket skort does that and then some! Absolutely love the blue color too. Most skorts I own have a bike short underneath. The brief is a lighter run short kind of feeling. I have not been on a serious hike yet, but will likely be cooler in the hot temperatures here in Texas. I am 5'7" / 135 lbs nd ordered the medium and it was really big. I returned for the small and it is perfect. Does not feel small or tight at all.
